A varied diet including live foods and high quality prepared foods provides the balanced nutrition aquarium fish require. My professional grade foods are not repackaged retail foods and not sold in stores. They are eagerly taken by fish from the smallest betta and rainbow fry to plecos and larger cichlids.
High protein content from marine fish and inverts, fish meat rather than fish meal promotes growth, while additional HUFA and amino content contributes to health and well being.

The best micro feed available for betta, rainbow and all very small fry. No prepared food totally replaces small live foods, but supplementing them with this ultra-fine food cuts losses during those first few days to a week after they become free swimming.
A rainbow breeder friend of mine calls it "magic dust." He feeds it to these smallest of fry along with green water, vinegar eels and micro worms. Super Fry has particles smaller than any of these live foods.
A small bit of this food goes a long way. Some sinks, some floats and some bobs along in midstream to accommodate all your fry. It incorporates ingredients and nutrients from commercial aquaculture, where they feed larvae smaller than any fry.
The recipe is proprietary, but it has an overall protein content of 56% including a very high percentage of easily digested marine proteins. It balances this with a generous 18% of highly unsaturated lipids, and is vitamin enriched including a generous amount of natural astaxanthins.
Fry Crack - Phase 1 Food - 55% Protein - Size Like BBS
A professional breeder called this food "Fry Crack" because of the way his fry attacked it. The name stuck.
Fry Crack is the first and smallest of my four phase, high protein foods. It is a perfect first food for medium to large fry, such as livebearers and cichlids, and an excellent second food for smaller fry growing out of foods like micro worms and vinegar eels. Guppies and many other small and medium size adult fish also hit it hard.
It is comparable in size to BBS. The exact ingredients are proprietary, but the basics are: Protein 55% - Fat 16.4% - Fiber 1% - Moisture 10% - Ash 10.8%.
Grow Out - Phase 2 Food - 55% Protein
This quality, growth formula has the same high protein content as my best selling Fry Crack and is one size up to accomodate fast growing fry and small fish.
Start them on Fry Crack, then follow up with Grow Out. At up to twice the size of a brine shrimp nauplii, I feed it not only to fry and juveniles, but to my adult killies and livebearers as well.
The nutrition profile is the same as Fry Crack: Protein 55% - Fat 16.4% - Fiber 1% - Moisture 10% - Ash 10.8%
Micro Pellets - Phase 3 Food - 55% Protein
This high quality, growth formula is for medium and larger fish. It is not sold in stores.
The nutrition profile is the same as Fry Crack and Grow Out: Protein 55% - Fat 16.4% - Fiber 1% - Moisture 10% - Ash 10.8%
Mini Pellets - Phase 4 Food - 55% Protein
This high quality, growth and maintenance formula is for large fish. It is not sold in stores.
The nutrition profile is similar to that of Phase 1 - 3 foods and is: Protein 48%- Fat 12% - Fiber 3% - Moisture 10% - Ash 12%
